About Us
Click411 was first launched in 2000 after the founder became frustrated
after having to navigate long and complex menus while making regular phone calls.
At the time, information wasn't as widely available as it is today and yellow and
white page searches were awkward at best. Those that were available were often hard
to find and often lacking in basic data.
So, with a basic idea and a great deal of initiative, the domain
Click-411.com was registered and a basic
website was created. Since then we have added Click411.ca
(for Canadian searches), Click411.com (for
United States searches), and the soon to be launched
Click411.co.uk (for United Kingdom searches) to our repertoire of sites.
In fact we hold all of the TLD's for Click411 and Click-411. Since we first began,
we have seen steady growth in the number of visitors and page views to our sites
and have continued to look for new ways to add value to the Click411 experience
of our valued visitors.
In 2006 we decided to anchor our various websites to the click411.com
domain and have added a subdomain for United States White and Yellow Page searches
and Canadian White and Business Page searches.
We are also starting to work on a similar White and Yellow Page search service for
the United Kingdom (http://uk.click411.com)
and are looking forward to developing that more over time.
A partnership was initiated in May 2003 with WhitePages.com
for United States White and Yellow Page search results. October 1, 2006 saw the
launch of a comprehensive redesign to the look and feel of our United States pages.
We are pleased to offer the "Click to Call" option for many of the Yellow Page listings. Stay
tuned for more additions and enhancements. In the meantime, please
contact us with any questions, comments or ideas. We'd love to hear from
you!
In January 2008 we successfuly reached a partnership agreement with
YellowPages.ca to provide us their Canadian business page listings.
We have seen a significant increase in Canadian traffic since that partnership has
been in place.
In April 2009, we re-launched all the sites with a cleaner and more streamlined
look and feel along with partnerships with two new sites: PeopleSearch.com and
EmailSearch.com
